Healthy Hair Regimen Routine
Your hair is your biggest asset. When we have healthy-looking hair, we feel like we are on top of the world and can accomplish anything that we put our minds to. While some people are in the mindset that they can just do nothing to their hair and it will start to grow to their ankles, others of us know that it takes a little more effort to grow healthy hair. See you can have long hair but if it’s eaten up by split ends, then it’s not doing you a whole lot of good. What you need to do is develop a healthy hair regimen that you can use to reach your hair goals for the year and finally start to embrace your biggest asset more often.
Steps for a Healthy Hair Regimen
Like I mentioned earlier, having healthy hair is a journey. And it all starts with you making the decision that you’re going to take your haircare seriously and get it back on track and take a look below at the steps for a healthy hair regimen routine that you can follow each month.
Step 1: Get your products together
Arguably, this is one of the more important things you need to start your healthy hair regimen is to have the correct products at your disposal. Everyone’s hair is different, so it might take a little trial and error before you can finally get a combination of products together that maximizes your hair’s health and growth. At minimum, you need a shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner, oil, and moisturizer. Luckily, Shedavi has every single product that you need at your fingertips.
Step 2: Check your Diet
Not only is the outside of your hair important, but what’s inside it will be a big part of your healthy hair regimen too. Greasy, sugary foods are no good for your body, just like they’re no good for your health. Clean eating and drinking lots of water will need to become the norm, and ensuring that you’re getting enough of the right vitamins and minerals in your diet will also be essential. The Shedavi Vitamins help you with half the battle of keeping your diet in check. Make sure you have creative ways to take them every day, so you can stay consistent.
Step 3: Develop your routine
Once you got all the right tools in your bucket, then you need to decide how you’re going to use everything. While you don’t have to wash your hair every day, you do need to make sure that it’s moisturized. Also, you want to incorporate your LOC or LCO method every time you decide to shampoo and condition. Everyone has a routine that works for them, and mine looks something like this:
- Wash: once every week
- Condition: after each wash
- Deep condition: 25th of every month
- LOC: after every condition
- Trim: every 8 weeks
- Leave-In Conditioner and Seal with Elixir oil: once every 3 days
See how I have a system in place to keep my hair healthy on the outside? You want to evaluate your lifestyle and commit to something that works for you. You may need to deep condition more or wash less often and replace with a cowash depending on your hair type.
Step 4: Execute Your Routine
Now that you have a plan in place, all you have to do is execute it. Like all good habits, they take some time to develop. Just stay committed to your cause and keep it up so that you can have healthy hair in no time.
